Activities and Outings

Blow are just some of the many activities and outings the Pack participates in year-round.

Feel free to visit our Instagram page for pictures on all our adventures!Β Β

Pack Camping

The Pack schedules campouts during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. These are family campouts where Scouts can earn achievements as well as enjoy outdoor activities, nature hikes, great food, and an evening campfire. In order for Scouts to participate in camping, all Pack dues must be current. All Scouts, with the exception of Lions, must participate in one campout per year.

Pinewood Derby

The Pack holds the Pinewood Derby during the beginning of the year, typically in March. At this event, the Scouts (with the assistance of an adult in their family) build and race a gravity powered Pinewood race car. Scouts are given awards based on how well their cars do and their creativity.

Blue & Gold Banquet

The Blue and Gold Banquet is a celebration commemorating the birthday of Scouting with food, fun, special guests, etc.

Cake Bake Auction

The Feller’s Cake Bake was typically a Father and son cake bake auction; however anyone is welcome to help the Scout bake their cake. Scouts and their parent get together and create a themed cake with all edible ingredients.Β  Cakes are then auctioned off and all proceeds are given to our chartered organization as a way to say THANK YOU.Β  Awards are also given to Scouts for their cakes based on various categories.

Lego Derby

The Lego Derby is a Summertime event where you and your Scout build and race a gravity powered race car built from Lego blocks. Scouts are given awards based on how well their cars do and how creative their designs were.

Raingutter Regatta

In the Summer, the Pack holds the Raingutter Regatta – an event where you and your Scout build and race a sailboat powered by Cub Scout lung power! Scouts are given awards based on how well their cars do.

Shooting Sports

The Pack typically participates in a yearly BB gun shooting sports event where the Scouts learn a variety of elements, such as:

CarolingΒ

The Pack does a yearly caroling event at one of the local community centers. Scouts typically make crafts and cards for the members of the community center and pass them out after caroling.

Community Service Projects

Part of being a Cub Scout means you give back to your community. Various opportunities throughout the year will be given for projects and events that promote good citizenship and community awareness.
